Hi! We are Ben & Lisa. We are a married couple that (aside from our kids, dog and each other) loves nothing more than hanging together and with other beer nerds in breweries, taprooms, bars, beer events and traveling to taste local flavors. While we love the flavors of Chicago, we have a passion for daydreaming of flavors in other states and countries.
Our beer journey began while Lisa was pregnant with our oldest daughter. We were living in New York, and Ben stumbled upon a store called Good Beer in the East Village. He bought a bunch of things, learned which styles he liked and drilled down from there. Over and over. It wasn’t long before it became something we enjoyed doing together.
We have enjoyed local beers together in 11 states and in 4 foreign nations. We don’t plan on stopping any time soon.
